A Case History in Saving Lives with Video eLearning

How a student eLearning class project at Metro State University of Denver “went national” and became an effective organ transplant information campaign.

The non-profit network known as Donate Life, and its affiliate, Midwest Transplant Network of Kansas City needed a way to inform hundreds of medical, DMV and funeral home professionals about this complicated process.

We discuss:

  • Working with eLearning clients and SMEs remotely
  • Storyboarding and client approval process
  • Optimizing video for smooth web delivery
  • Creating a registration, quiz and certificate of completion with simple technology that does not need an expensive LMS to gather results

Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release) Update 7 ready for download

  • Radical new clean interface - properties panel for precise control - preview in place. The lightweight file structure in Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release) is very transparent.
  • What you see in the Contents panel is exactly what you'll see at the file explorer level. There are no virtual folders or guesswork as to where to find and manage project assets like topics, style sheets, graphics and videos.
  • One huge improvement in Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release) is preview in place. Instead of interrupting your workflow to call up a separate dialog, you can see your changes instantly.
  • A new Properties Panel in Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release) lets you make changes and see the effect of edits immediately.
  • Video is a crucial need these days and it's easy to import YouTube, Vimeo and Adobe Captivate eLearning modules into Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release).
  • A totally new Search Engine algorithm with autocomplete and fuzzy logic in Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release) makes it easy for the end user to find what they need quickly."
